StockHam Radio - Locator – the mobile all-in-one app for amateur radio operators StockHam Radio - Locator is the new mobile app from StockHam Radio for amateur radio operators. An interactive world map keeps your GPS location centered and shows you distances from you to any point on Earth – and also between any points, including a ruler function. Through the three tabs – Map, Status, and Your Location – you have everything at a glance: current weather and a 3-day forecast, sunrise and moonset times, GPS coordinates, QRA locator, and local time in UTC. For each selected point, the app also displays the distance, weather, local time, and QRA locator. Use the search function to find QSO targets by name, postal code, address, or QRA locator, and you can reuse your previous search results. A QRA locator layer displays worldwide 6-digit locator fields, while the prefix layer overlays amateur radio prefixes like OE or HB and shows you the corresponding country at the touch of a button. The map header indicates how many layers are currently active. With day/night layers, moon view, and satellite view, the app becomes a radio planning tool: You can instantly see whether contacts are on the day or night side, the moon's position for EME, and the current locations of NOAA, weather, and amateur radio satellites (including ISS/ARISS data) – each with its orbit and QRA locator. The integrated QSO log displays five QSOs per page, allowing you to search for and edit contacts and view them directly on the map with distances. You can export your QSO list at any time and import it on a new device to ensure no data is lost.
