You are a stick figure, and the artist who drew you has changed his mind. Story mode is fifteen chapters. Each one is a page he draws to be rid of you: new ground, new things coming at you, and something larger waiting at the end of it. Survival is the other half — one arena, waves that do not stop, and a shop between them where the money you just made buys the gun you needed two waves ago. Six characters, and they play differently rather than just looking different. The Commando is the safe pick. The Acrobat is fast and made of paper. The Guardian walks slowly and refuses to fall over. The Engineer puts down a turret and lets it do the work. The Medic outlives everything. The Shadow gets one shot, then vanishes. Eight weapons, from a pistol up to a flamethrower, and upgrades that stay with you between runs. Every tenth wave you pick a boon that changes the rest of it: shots that jump to a second enemy, bodies that explode, kills that give health back. Ten maps — city streets, a warehouse, a forest, a graveyard, a bunker. Four difficulties, and the hard ones pay better. Leaderboards for the furthest wave and the longest survival on each map. It runs offline. Portrait one-handed or landscape with both, whichever way you are holding the phone. And if you would rather not do it alone, bring a friend into the run.
