Stereotek is the companion app for a high-end audio, video and home automation system, built by the integrators behind the Stereotek showroom in Santo Domingo. There is no account, no sign-up, and nothing needs a connection. MY HOME - YOUR SYSTEM, ON YOUR PHONE Keep a record of what is installed in every room: brand, model, serial number, install date and warranty length. The app works out when each warranty runs out and flags anything expiring within 90 days. It is all stored on your device, so it is there when the network is not - which is exactly when you need to know the model of the switch sitting in the rack. A handover code loads a whole system in one paste, or moves it to another phone. PROJECT - PLAN THE ROOM BEFORE YOU BUILD IT Enter a room's width, length, height and seating distance, in metres or feet, and the app calculates: - Screen size from the 30 degree SMPTE reference angle to the 36 degree THX cinema angle, with the image width and height for each - Projector throw distance for short, standard and long zoom lenses - Exact speaker positions measured from your seat: fronts at 30 degrees, surrounds at 100, rears at 145, and height channels at 45 degrees of elevation calculated against your own ceiling - Axial room modes for all three dimensions, the lowest frequency the room supports, predicted mode pile-ups, and the 38 percent rule for where the seat belongs Then choose what each room needs and the app writes the pre-wire schedule: speaker runs, fibre-optic HDMI in conduit, Cat6 drops, neutrals in the switch boxes, dedicated circuits, power at every shade head rail. The list you hand your architect before the walls close. SUPPORT - ANSWERS BEFORE A PHONE CALL Short guides for what actually goes wrong: a zone with no sound, a projector with no picture, a shade that will not move, the internet down, a keypad gone dark. All of it offline. When you do need us, the fault report asks the right questions - room, system, symptom, urgency - and carries the equipment registered in that room, serial numbers included, straight from your inventory.
