StatementSnap reads every transaction, then adds them up against the closing balance the statement itself prints. If the two agree, the statement is marked reconciled. If they don't, it tells you which rows to look at rather than quietly rounding the difference away. WHAT YOU GET • Every transaction as a date, description, amount and running balance • A reconciled badge that is arithmetic we performed — not something a model asserted • Export to Excel (XLSX), CSV, QuickBooks (QBO), OFX and DATEV • Spend categories for Schedule C, editable, with a worklist of anything uncertain WORKS WITH YOUR BANK No per-bank templates. It reads whatever layout your statement uses — chequing, savings or credit card — and every figure is shown in the currency the statement prints. PHOTOGRAPH A PAPER STATEMENT Lay the page flat, one photograph per page. The pages become a document on your phone before anything is uploaded. CHECK THE OUTPUT Automated reading is not the same as reading. Anything the arithmetic could not confirm is flagged rather than hidden, and every row can be corrected by hand. YOUR FILES Uploaded files are deleted an hour after they are read. Parsed tables are kept 24 hours unless you save them to your account.
