Stampa di Luce is a print planner for photographers. You have a 3:2 file and a 40 × 50 cm frame. What gets cropped? How wide do the borders end up? What should the mat opening be? Does the file have enough pixels? Stampa answers all four in one screen, and shows its working so you can check it against a ruler. FROM IMAGE TO FRAME • Start from the image: pick a ratio, type the pixel dimensions, or read them from a photo • Choose the paper or frame: ISO A, US sizes, common frame, square and panoramic dimensions — or your own • Fit with borders, or fill with crop — the diagram shows exactly what is lost and from which edges BORDERS AND MAT • Set a minimum border and a heavier bottom weighting for classic fine-art presentation • See the borders as they actually land on the sheet, not just the number you asked for • Mat opening with overlap, float-mount option, and the outer mat size RESOLUTION • Effective PPI at the printed size, corrected for cropping • A plain-language quality note — advisory, never a gate SHARE • Send the plan as text to a lab or framer: every input and every result, in mm or inches, never mixed MADE FOR THE PRINT ROOM • Works completely offline • No account, no tracking, no data collection — the picked photo is never copied or uploaded; only its pixel dimensions are read • Saved sizes stay on your device • English, Swedish and German Stampa di Luce is free.
