StageScore is a PDF sheet music reader built around one critical problem: the moment the page turns, your eye has nowhere to land. Traditional page turns move the music you are reading away from you. StageScore takes a different approach: turn only half the page at a time. Your current music stays exactly where you expect it, while the next section appears where your eyes aren't looking. TWO WAYS TO TURN HALF A PAGE StageScore gives you two ways to handle the transition: Split Halves — The page is divided into two fixed panels. When you turn, only the panel you are not currently reading changes. Nothing moves in front of your eyes. Fit Page — The entire view shifts upward by half a page, keeping the bottom half of the current page visible directly above the top half of the next. Switch between modes with a single tap. PUT THE CUT BETWEEN THE MUSIC Music rarely divides neatly at 50%. Drag the split line anywhere from 15% to 85% to place the transition exactly where the music wants it — between systems instead of through them. Every score remembers its own split position. And the notation never gets smaller. Each panel displays the same page proportionally, so your music remains the same size as it is in a full-page view. USE THE PEDAL YOU ALREADY HAVE StageScore works with standard keyboard commands, so compatible Bluetooth page-turning pedals work immediately — including PageFlip, AirTurn, Donner, and others. No special configuration required. A reverse option supports pedals with inverted controls. ANNOTATE WITH CONFIDENCE Mark your music naturally with: • Smooth pen and a highlighter that lets the staff show through • Eraser and text boxes • Musical symbols including fermatas, breath marks, accents, and bowings • Full undo and redo Your markings stay precisely where you put them on the page through zoom, crop, and rotation. Export annotated PDFs that stay sharp at any size, preserving the original page quality for printing or sharing.
