The Sri Mahalakshmi Temple is an active house of Hindu worship. Priests perform the puja ceremonies on a daily basis and during festivals. Volunteers and temple staff also participate in daily rituals. There are periodic ratha (chariot) processions is taken out of the temple in an decorated with colorful clothes and flowers, with volunteers pulling the chariot through the streets of sankapura and the concentric roads in the tradtional village. Gods Worshipped : 1. Main God : "Goddess MahaLakshmi" 2. Other Gods : "Sri Ganesha & Sri Hanuman"
