BRING YOUR OWN GEMINI API KEY SprachCoach uses a Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) model. To use the AI-powered features, you provide your own Google Gemini API key. Setup instructions are included in the app. Your API key is stored securely on your device and is not sent to the SprachCoach developer's server. When you use an AI feature, the information required for that feature is sent directly from your device to Google's Gemini API using your key. Usage of the Gemini API is subject to Google's own terms, availability, and usage limits. Your saved conversation history and feedback remain stored locally on your device. SprachCoach also collects limited anonymous usage analytics to understand how the app is used and improve its features. These analytics do not include your Gemini API key, conversation transcripts, or scanned photos. SprachCoach currently requires no subscription or in-app purchase.
