Scan and identify filament • Material type, subtype, brand, and product • Color name and exact RGB/hex value • Full and remaining weight, nominal length, and diameter • Nozzle, bed, and drying settings • Minimum nozzle diameter and spool dimensions • Manufacturing date and tag or tray identifiers • Catalog matches and curated replacement suggestions when available Manage your spool inventory Save a scanned spool or add one manually. Organize up to 50 non-archived spools with lifecycle state, remaining material, location, and notes. Search by material, color, brand, or location; filter unopened, in-use, empty, archived, or all spools. Repeat scans can reconnect to the same physical spool record. Explore and compare filaments Browse specifications for filament from multiple manufacturers. Compare the current spool with up to three catalog filaments to quickly spot matching, similar, and different parameters—including material, temperatures, weight, speed, density, heat resistance, and strength data when available. Create NFC tags for third-party filament Create reusable Spool Scanner labels on compatible NTAG215 or NTAG216 NDEF stickers. Enter spool details, choose the optional fields to include, check the encoded size, then write. Every write is read back and verified before success is reported. OpenPrintTag support Read compatible OpenPrintTag NFC-V filament records, create a filament record on a supported blank NXP ICODE SLIX2 tag, and update remaining or usage weight. OpenPrintTag support is limited to compatible FFF/filament records and hardware. Original Bambu Lab spool tags are read only and are never modified. The app does not create or imitate Bambu Lab RFID tags. Local scan history Review the 20 most recent compatible scans and tag writes. History is stored locally, grouped by spool or tag identity, and can be cleared at any time.
