Spit it out! is a local, pass-and-play music quiz designed for social settings. One phone, 2–10 players, and your choice of music. Take turns guessing songs while Spotify or Apple Music plays the tracks in the background. No accounts. No sign-ups. Just press play and pass the phone. How it works 1. Each game is played on a single device shared by everyone in the room. 2. Add 2–10 players 3. Choose a music pack or custom mix 4. Pass the phone to the active player 5. Guess the song or artist 6. Place the track on a timeline by release year 7. Earn points and move closer to the target score 8. The first player to reach the selected score wins. Game modes - Take Your Time A turn-based mode where players guess one at a time. After a correct answer, you can choose to continue your turn and risk your points, or stop and secure them. One mistake and the turn points are lost. - Spit it out A faster, more competitive mode where all players guess at the same time. The first correct answer wins the round and scores the points. - Timeline challenge This is more than a simple music quiz. After guessing the song, players must place it in the correct position on a timeline based on release year. Place it correctly and earn extra points. Get it wrong and lose your chance to score. Music packs Choose from a growing collection of curated music packs, including: - Pop hits - Rock classics - Hip-Hop and R&B - 80s and 90s throwbacks - Swedish classics - and many more... New packs are added over time, and packs can be combined to create custom mixes.
