Store description excerpt
Spider Solitaire: the run that lifts off the table Eight complete sequences, king down to ace, each one in a single suit. Finish one and it leaves the board on the spot, which is the moment the whole game is built around. Getting there means working ten columns fed by two shuffled decks, with fifty more cards held back in reserve. One suit, two suits or four With one suit in play the ordering is forgiving and the only question is where to dig first. Two suits make you keep the colours apart. Four suits turn nearly every move into a trade, because a pile you break to reach a buried card can take twenty moves to put back together. Pick the level that matches the time you have. How a deal goes Cards go down in rank on any column whatever the suit, but only cards already matching in suit travel as a group. So the tableau fills with neat-looking piles that cannot be lifted, and untangling them is the real work. An empty column is the most useful thing on the board and the hardest to hold on to, and the reserve refuses to deal while one stands empty, so the timing of each deal is a decision rather than a reflex. Also in the app - A hundred moves of undo, and a hint when the board stalls - Games, wins and fastest finishes tracked per difficulty - Table colour and card back changed whenever you like - No account, no connection required, 33 languages Something not working?
