Spendify is a plain-spoken ledger for seeing where your money actually goes. There is no account to create, no advertising, and nothing leaves your phone. The app doesn't even hold the internet permission. That isn't a policy, it's the architecture: your spending history can't be sent to a server because there is no way to send it. ■ ACCOUNTS Cash, bank, credit card, savings — or define your own account type. Each account keeps its own balance, colour and icon. Archive one you've stopped using without losing its history. ■ CREDIT CARDS AND INSTALMENTS Money on a card isn't yours, so Spendify counts it as debt. Set a limit, watch what's left of it, pay the balance down from another account. Enter an instalment purchase once and the app splits it across the months, putting the rounding remainder on the final charge so the parts still add back up to exactly what you paid. Any number of instalments from 1 to 36. If a charge would take you past the limit, Spendify says so — then leaves the decision to you, because this is a ledger, not a bank. ■ WHAT HAPPENED VS WHAT'S COMING Next month's instalment hasn't left your pocket yet. Spendify knows the difference: balances and card debt count only what has actually been charged, while scheduled instalments wait in their own section on the Transactions screen. ■ CATEGORIES AND TAGS Sort spending into categories, and turn on subcategories when you want a second level (Bills > Electricity). Tags are a separate dimension: mark the same grocery run as Home or Work and see each total on its own. Tags can carry monthly limits too. ■ BUDGETS AND REPORTS Set a monthly limit per category and watch the bar fill up. Reports cover the last six months of income and spending, this month's split by category, the split by tag, and how the month compares with the one before. ■ RECURRING TRANSACTIONS Rent, salary, subscriptions — define them weekly, monthly or yearly and the app creates each one when its date arrives. ■ SAVINGS GOALS A holiday, a new phone, an emergency fund. Set the target and the date, add to it as you save, see what's left to go. ■ FILTERS AND EXPORT "How much did I spend on groceries for the house between these two dates?" — combine date range, category, account, tag and free text, and read the total for exactly what matched. Export to CSV: everything, this month, last month, this year, or a range you pick. The file opens cleanly in a spreadsheet. ■ BACKUP Back everything up to a single file and keep a copy in Drive or anywhere else. Open that file later and Spendify offers to restore it. An automatic backup runs once a day, and only when something changed. The five most recent are kept. You can turn it off. ■ LANGUAGE AND CURRENCY English and Turkish. Fourteen currencies: $, €, £, ₺, ¥ and more. Number formatting follows the currency — 1,234.56 for $, 1.234,56 for ₺. ■ APPEARANCE Light, dark and system themes. A Material 3 interface.
