Speaker Draft brings the calculations and notes needed for early-stage DIY speaker design into one focused workspace. Enter the enclosure’s external dimensions and panel thickness to calculate its internal dimensions, gross volume, and net volume. Account for displacement from the driver, bracing, port, and other components to estimate the effective air volume of the finished enclosure. For bass reflex designs, choose from round, rectangular, or slot ports. Lock the port size, duct length, or tuning frequency, then recalculate the remaining values as you make changes. Review the total port area, port displacement, equivalent round diameter, and equivalent dimensions for other port shapes. The horn calculator supports conical, exponential, and hyperbolic-exponential profiles. Enter the throat area, mouth area, horn length, and number of segments to calculate the cross-sectional dimensions along the horn. Choose square, ratio-based rectangular, or round sections, then review the profile and dimension table. • Calculate internal dimensions from external dimensions and panel thickness • Review gross and net enclosure volume • Account for driver, bracing, port, and other displacement • Design round, rectangular, and slot bass reflex ports • Lock port size, duct length, or tuning frequency • Convert port area into equivalent dimensions for other shapes • Record driver details and T/S parameters • Load built-in driver presets • Generate horn profiles and cross-section tables • See warnings for invalid dimensions, port fit, and excessive port volume • Create, duplicate, switch, and automatically save projects • Share key inputs, results, horn tables, and notes as text • Switch between English and Japanese Speaker Draft is designed for initial dimensioning and workshop planning. It is not a replacement for advanced acoustic simulation. Actual tuning and response may vary depending on driver tolerances, port placement, damping material, enclosure geometry, and measurement conditions. Confirm the final design through prototyping and measurement.
