In addition, a new set of images and sound files. ** This is the ultimate word dictionary for the Navajo language. "Speak Navajo" is an Android mobile device application that contains common many Navajo words. At a touch of a finger, you can easily find Navajo words by searching the English word counterpart. As an enrolled member of the Navajo Tribe, I am providing all Navajo words that I have learned growing up on the Navajo reservation. As such, all Navajo words provided in this application are authentic and commonly used by the Navajo people. Data includes: -English word -Group word -Navajo word -Sounds like word -Image file -Sound file Searching Features: -Search by English name -Search by Group name As a user friendly option, the "Speak Navajo" application provides image and sound files. The image option is very useful in providing a visual that links to the Navajo word. In addition, a sound file is provided for every Navajo word that allows the user to hear the Navajo word being spoken. The goal of "Speak Navajo" is to provide correct, accurate and commonly spoken Navajo words to everyone interested in learning and preserving the Navajo language. This application is the perfect educational learning tool for anyone interested in learning the most valuable artifact to the Navajo people.
