A 10-cent difference per litre doesn't feel like much. Multiply it by a full tank, then by every fill-up this year — that is what choosing the right station is actually worth. Sparkilo shows which station near you or along your route is cheapest, using each country's price data, then helps you see what every kilometre really costs. Free and open source. No ads, no tracking, no account needed. WHERE THE PRICES COME FROM • Government open data in most countries, retailer feeds where there is no national source — every result names its source. • Petrol, diesel, LPG, CNG and E85 wherever a country's source publishes them, plus EV charging locations from Open Charge Map. SAVE ON THE PRICE • Search nearby or along your route. Filter by fuel, radius and, where the source provides them, opening hours and amenities. • Route mode finds good stops inside your travel corridor, including across a border into another supported country. • Price alerts per station or within a radius, checked in the background on your device. • Favourites show every fuel price at a glance; EV chargers show power, connectors and the status Open Charge Map reports. THEN SAVE ON THE LITRES • Consumption tracking: tank level and range, average L/100 km, cost per km, total spent and a fill-up history. • Log fill-ups by hand; the Google Play build can also read the pump display or receipt with on-device OCR. • Record trips with GPS alone or with a compatible OBD2 (ELM327) adapter, and see your route coloured by efficiency. • With an adapter, throttle and engine-speed breakdowns show which driving habits cost you fuel. • Carbon dashboard: cost and CO2 by trip length and speed band. • GPS-only figures are estimates, calibrated against your fill-ups. WHILE YOU DRIVE • While a trip is recording, the closest station and its price stay in view as you approach. • Home-screen widget, spoken price announcements and, in the Google Play build, Android Auto. • Basic, Medium and Full presets keep the app as simple or as deep as you want. PRIVACY • Your records are stored on your device. A search sends its location to the price source for that country, and address, routing, charging and map services receive what they need to answer. Your Tankerkönig key goes only to Tankerkönig. • Recorded GPS trips leave your device only if you turn on TankSync trip sync. • Optional TankSync syncs favourites, vehicles, fill-ups and alerts to your own server or to the Sparkilo Community database hosted in the EU. • Privacy Dashboard: export everything as one ZIP, delete your data on the device and on the server, and revoke any consent at any time.
