Store description excerpt
Created by a baker, for bakers. I developed this app for my own kitchen because I was missing a straightforward tool to handle sourdough math and keep track of my recipe adjustments. It is designed to be a practical companion for home bakers who want to focus on the dough rather than the spreadsheet. How it helps you: Understanding your dough The calculator helps you determine the final hydration and salt percentage based on your ingredients. If you aim for a specific hydration level, the app can also calculate exactly how much liquid you need to add to reach your target. A log for your experiments Sourdough baking is often about trial and error. This app acts as your digital notebook where you can: Save your complete recipes, including base ingredients and mix-ins like seeds or grains. Add personal notes regarding baking times, oven temperatures, and the final result. Rate your recipes so you remember which ones worked best. Designed for flexibility Since no two starters are alike, you can set the specific hydration of your own starter for precise calculations. You can also easily add multiple types of flour and liquids to match your pantry. Feedback is welcome I use this tool for my own baking every week, but I am always looking to improve it. If you have feedback, ideas, or feature requests, please feel free to reach out. I would love to hear how the app works for you.
