Sour Brain Trail is a spotting game for your eyes and your thumb. Up to thirty candies ricochet around the glass, knocking into each other and off the walls. The bar at the top names a colour. Find that colour in the chaos and tap it before it drifts behind something else. Then the bar names another one. The twist is the cages. Some candies sit locked behind bars that open and shut on their own rhythm. Cannot be taken — and stabbing at one costs you a second and a half you do not have. So you wait for the bars to lift, or you shake the phone and rattle every cage open at once. That works, but it also flings the whole swarm faster for a moment. Timing is the whole game. WHAT YOU DO • Read the called colour off the bar at the top • Find it among up to six shades bouncing at once • Tap it — but only when it is out of its cage • Shake the phone to spring every cage open, and brace for the speed-up EVERY LEVEL IS FINISHABLE The clock is not guessed. Each level's time is calculated from how many candies are on the glass, how many colours are in play, how fast they move and how often the cages shut. We then simulated all thirty-six levels thousands of times against several player speeds to confirm the same thing every time: a steady pair of eyes clears every level in the game. There is no wall, and there is no level that cannot be beaten. THREE SHELVES • Sugar Rush — everything faster, cages from the very first level • Night Shelf — all six colours, the quickest swarm, and up to four candies in ten behind bars THREE STARS, THREE DIFFERENT SKILLS One for clearing the shelf.
