Hearing devices bring sound back. Practice is how sound becomes understanding. Most people are sent home with a new device and told to "just listen more." SoundSteps gives that practice a clear shape: a few minutes a day, one step at a time. START WITH A QUICK LISTENING CHECK A short, friendly check — about 2 minutes, no account needed — finds the right starting point for you. PRACTICE THAT BUILDS, STEP BY STEP • Word pairs: catch the small differences, like "sip" vs. "ship" • Sentences and everyday conversations • Stories you can follow along with, word by word • Everyday scenes, like ordering coffee or answering the phone BACKGROUND NOISE, AT YOUR OWN PACE Noisy rooms are the hard part — so noise is never forced on you. When you're ready, add a little background sound and build up gradually. MANY VOICES, NOT JUST ONE Practice with 9 different voices, male and female, across different accents. Real life never sounds like just one person. SEE YOUR PROGRESS Accuracy over time, your strongest and trickiest sound pairs, practice streaks, and a simple suggestion for what to do next. You can share a progress summary with your audiologist any time. PRACTICE IN ENGLISH OR SPANISH Switch languages any time in Settings.
