Store description excerpt

Sopix is a word search for odd moments: pick a theme, drag your finger, and the words light up. SEARCH IN SIX LANGUAGES Spanish, English, German, French, Italian and Portuguese. The whole game switches language, not just the word list. BONUS WORDS This is the fun part. Beyond the listed words, if you spot any other real word hidden in the grid, it scores. Every language ships with its full dictionary, so yes — that one you just noticed counts. THIRTY-SIX THEMES Animals, Birds, Fish, Insects, Flowers, Nature, Sea, Farm, Weather, Food, Fruit, Vegetables, Drinks, Sweets, Kitchen, Home, City, School, Family, Emotions, Body, Clothes, Shopping, Jobs, Tools, Technology, Transport, Travel, Camping, Sports, Music, Movies, Fantasy, Space, Colors and Calendar. Over six thousand words, each checked one by one against that language's dictionary: no obscure terms nobody uses. And if you'd rather not choose, the Random button builds a board with words from every theme at once. AT YOUR OWN PACE Three board sizes, from 9×9 to 13×13. No countdown, no rush: the clock is only there if you feel like beating your own time. TODAY'S CHALLENGE A new board every day, the same one for everybody. Solve it and chain days together: your streak shows on the menu, and breaks if you miss a day. BUILD STREAKS Finding several words in a row multiplies your score. And if you get stuck, there are hints. WHAT DOES IT MEAN? Tap any word you've found and its definition slides in, written in the language you're playing in. All of them, one by one, in all six languages. ADVENTURE Levels back to back with the clock against you. Each one brings more words, a bigger grid and fewer seconds per word; run out of time and that level starts over with a fresh grid. And every few levels the list disappears: all you get is the definition of the word you're after. • No sign-up, and no connection needed to play • Leave several games half-done and pick each one up where you left it • Keeps your best score per difficulty • Sound effects and haptics, both easy to mute
