Sobre is an envelope budget for Philippine households. You give every peso a job. Money that arrives is split across envelopes — food, rent, tuition, the bills that land at the same time every month — and whatever is still unassigned is shown plainly instead of hiding inside a total. WHAT THE PHONE APP IS FOR Recording spending while you are standing there, and seeing where the household stands before you decide anything. • Where you stand — what is in your wallets, what is still unallocated, and which envelopes are running short • Record — an expense, an income, a bill payment, or a transfer between wallets, in a few taps • History — every entry you have recorded, and which envelope it came out of • Household — add and rename wallets, envelopes, bills, loans and goals, move money into an envelope, and change how you sign in Drawing up a month's plan is still done in the Sobre web app. Everything you do away from a desk is here. BUILT FOR HOW HOUSEHOLDS HERE ACTUALLY WORK • Wallets, not just bank accounts — cash, e-wallets, bank accounts and cards sit side by side • Shared households — more than one person can keep the same budget, each with their own sign-in • Bills with due dates, so the ones that catch people out are visible before they land • Loans in both directions — money you owe, and money you lent • Savings goals, each with its own envelope • More than one currency, kept apart — Sobre will not invent an exchange rate to blend them WHAT IT DELIBERATELY DOES NOT DO Sobre does not connect to your bank, and it does not read your text messages. Nothing is imported for you. You record what happened, which costs a little attention in the first week and is honest afterwards. Sobre does not move money. There is no payment, no transfer to anyone else, and no account number is ever asked for. Sobre does not give financial advice. It shows you your own figures and leaves the deciding to you.
