Store description excerpt

Add your debts and see the month you stop paying them. That part is free. Everything after it, including the month-by-month schedule and the extra-payment tools described below, is a subscriber-only feature, and every subscription starts with a free trial. THE DATE, DOWN TO THE MONTH Enter each balance, rate and minimum payment. Say what you can pay every month. You get one number back: the month you are debt-free, and the interest standing between you and it. SNOWBALL OR AVALANCHE, AND WHAT EACH COSTS Snowball clears your smallest balance first, so the first debt disappears sooner. Avalanche attacks the highest rate, so you pay less interest. The app shows you the difference in money and in months, then lets you pick the one you will actually stick with. PAID EXTRA THIS MONTH? ONE TAP Type the amount. The date moves while you are still typing, and the app tells you how much sooner you will be done and how much interest you just killed. INTEREST THE WAY YOUR STATEMENT CHARGES IT Credit cards compound daily, not monthly. Most payoff calculators divide the rate by twelve and quietly understate what the card costs. This one charges cards daily and loans monthly, so the total matches what you will really pay. WHEN THE MINIMUMS ARE NOT ENOUGH If the minimum payments never outrun the interest, the app says so and names the number, instead of drawing a schedule that runs for fifty years. YOUR NUMBERS STAY ON YOUR PHONE No account, no bank login, no upload. Balances and rates never leave the device. WHAT YOUR SUBSCRIPTION UNLOCKS - The full month-by-month payoff schedule, with every payment split into interest and principal - Extra payments, and what each one is worth in months and in interest - Snowball vs avalanche compared on your own debts - What paying only the minimums would cost you instead - The order your debts end in, with the month each one clears, and what each debt costs a month in interest - Built for iPhone and iPad, in light and dark, at every text size - No account and no sign-up. Your debts stay on the device; the only thing that goes out is the subscription check IMPORTANT The schedule is an estimate built from the balances, rates and payments you enter. Card issuers apply fees, promotional rates and payment allocation rules that this app does not see, so your statement may differ. Debt Payoff is not financial or legal advice. SUBSCRIPTION Snowball Debt Payoff Planner is offered as an auto-renewing subscription: - Monthly: $9.99 per month, after a 3-day free trial - Yearly: $49.99 per year, after a 7-day free trial Prices are in USD and may vary by region. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings after purchase
