The Smart Vision Glasses app is a companion application to be used along with our Smart Vision Glasses device. This app assists severely visually impaired and blind people to lead independent and productive lives. NOTE: This is not a standalone application. This app requires that you already have an appropriate iOS compatible Smart Vision Glasses or similar device from SHG Technologies. This is an early release version of the application. The application provides three modes currently: Things Around You (TAY) mode: In the TAY mode, upon the appropriate user input, the app will describe the things around the user. Reading mode: In Reading mode, the app will read out various types of documents in multiple languages. Walking Assistant. Walking Assistant can be used along with the standard assistive devices like the cane to navigate surroundings. Additionally, it provides functionality such as: Emergency assistance: If emergency contact information is provided, your device and app will help contact the user's emergency contact person seamlessly. Facial storage & recognition: For faces you as a user choose to store, the name of the person will be announced if they are detected by the app and device. Voice assistant mode: Use your device using your voice to read, describe things around you, walk etc. This is just an overview and full details can be obtained from the audio tutorial in the app.
