It offers robust capabilities including search functionality and sorting options, enabling efficient tracking and management of packages to ensure successful delivery to the intended recipients or locations. The Smart Delivery app seamlessly integrates with CapturePoint to streamline the shipment process. Utilizing the mobile device's built-in camera, Smart Delivery captures images of packing slips and promptly transmits them to CapturePoint for Optical Character Recognition (OCR) scanning. Once the details are extracted, the relevant information is displayed on the mobile device for user validation and confirmation of accuracy. Users can then assign a destination and schedule for package delivery in real-time or defer the decision to a later time, retaining the flexibility to access and modify records as needed. Upon confirmation of the delivery location and schedule, the package is marked as ready for delivery. After successful delivery, users can conveniently update the package status within the app, marking it as delivered. Subsequently, the record is automatically archived within CapturePoint, ensuring data integrity and providing a valuable resource for future reporting and analysis purposes.
