Store description excerpt
Sloped converts between the ways grade actually gets expressed, checks whether a drainage run falls enough to work, estimates how much soil a grading job moves, and checks a cut or fill against typical stable angles for the soil involved. Percent, angle, and ratio, together A hundred percent grade is a forty five degree angle, not vertical, and mixing these up is one of the most common mistakes in site work. Sloped shows percent, angle, and ratio side by side from a single entry, with a diagram that redraws to match, so the number and the shape are never separated. Drainage that actually falls enough A pipe or channel that is even slightly too flat will not drain properly, and code minimums exist for a reason. Sloped checks a run's actual grade against the minimum for its type and diameter, and when it comes up short, tells you exactly how much lower the far end needs to be rather than just flagging a failure. Volume in three numbers, not one Ground in its natural state, once excavated, and once compacted are three different volumes for the same material. Sloped estimates bank volume from your survey points, then applies a swell factor for what you will actually haul and a compaction factor for what you will actually need to fill, so ordering trucks or fill material starts from the right number. Sloped angle against the soil, not a universal number A stable cut in sand and a stable cut in clay are different angles, and Sloped checks your slope's actual ratio against typical ranges for the soil type you specify. Every result is shown as planning guidance, not an engineering determination, and a slope tall enough to warrant one gets a direct recommendation to bring in a geotechnical engineer. No sign-in, nothing tracked Every measurement stays on your phone. There is no account, no location access, no ads, and nothing sent anywhere. Pull your drainage runs, grading jobs, and slope checks out as a CSV whenever you want a copy. Sloped calculates from the numbers and soil type you enter. Stable angle ranges are commonly cited planning figures, not a substitute for a geotechnical engineer, especially for any slope supporting a structure.
