Store description excerpt
Slate is a focus tool with a physical switch. Tap the Slate Card to your phone and the apps you choose go quiet. Tap it again to come back. With your card set up, you can also put a blocklist on a schedule — mornings, deep-work blocks, wind-down — and it starts and ends on its own. No streaks. No scores. No badges. Nothing to keep up with. Just a calm, deliberate way to put your phone down. — Tap to start, tap to stop. A focus session in one gesture. — Build blocklists: named sets of apps to silence. — Schedules decide when a blocklist runs, and for how long. Overlaps simply stack. — Emergency unlocks end a session when your card isn't to hand. — A quiet history of your sessions — and the time you've gotten back, measured in things that are real. Blocking is handled entirely by Apple's Screen Time system. The apps you pick are never visible to Slate and never leave your phone. No tracking, no ads, no data sold. Slate works without an account. Sign in with Apple or Google only if you want your unlocks and setup to follow you to a new phone. Slate is built around the Slate Card, sold separately at tapslate.co. Requires iOS 16 or later.
