Sky Claim is a stargazing app and a night sky game. Point your phone at a real star, planet or the Moon, hold it steady, and claim that object into your permanent personal collection. It is a star map you play, not a star map you read. The entire sky is computed on your device, so it works with no internet at all. HOW A CLAIM WORKS Open Hunt mode and aim at the sky. Your phone's compass and motion sensors confirm you are pointed within a few degrees of the object's true position, and you hold that aim for a moment to lock it in. There is no tap to claim shortcut. Every claim is saved with the date, time and place, and is yours permanently. Cloudy night, or a bright city sky? You are aiming at a real object's true computed position, so a claim still works from a balcony, a window, or indoors. No dark sky and no telescope required. VOYAGES: TRAVEL TO A STAR YOU HAVE CLAIMED Launch a probe at any star in your collection. It crosses one light year every real hour, so Proxima takes four hours and Betelgeuse takes three weeks. Check in as it flies to see which real stars it has overtaken. When it lands, the sky map shows the genuine night sky from that star, built from real measured distances. Familiar stars sit in unfamiliar places. Some vanish. And our own Sun becomes an ordinary point of light you have to go looking for.
