Skolon Vault signs students in to their school's digital tools automatically. No more passwords to remember — Vault uses the student's existing Skolon session to log them in to every tool their school has assigned. For students at schools using Skolon If your school is a Skolon customer, your teacher can assign third‑party services (Google Classroom, IXL, Classroomscreen, and many more) to your class. Vault stores your school's credentials for those services securely in the background. When you sign in to Skolon on your iPad and then visit one of those services, Vault fills in the login form for you. No new password to remember. No passwords written down. No shared class password that everyone in the class knows. Your school administrator decides which services you get, and Vault does the rest. Designed for shared iPads Each student signs in to Skolon as usual. Vault picks up the active Skolon session, fetches that student's services, and serves them. When the next student signs in, Vault swaps to their services. Nothing the previous student did is left behind — Vault's session token clears on Skolon logout. Privacy first - Vault does not record browsing history. - Vault does not store credentials in the browser extension — your passwords are fetched per request, decrypted in memory, used to fill the form, and immediately discarded. - The Vault backend (operated by Skolon) encrypts credentials at rest with AES‑256‑GCM and re‑encrypts them on the wire with a key that changes every request. A captured response cannot be replayed. - No third‑party analytics, no advertising, no trackers. Requirements - A Skolon account from a school that has purchased Vault licenses. - iPadOS 16.4 or later, or macOS 13 or later with Safari. - This extension itself is free; schools pay for the Vault license via the Skolon platform. Permissions explained - Access to all websites: required because each school decides which third‑party services its students use. The school administrator enters those services' URLs in the Vault admin portal; the extension matches the URLs the student actually visits. - Tabs: detects when a student opens an assigned login page, so Vault can fill the form. - Storage: remembers the student's UI language preference and per‑site auto‑submit learned flag. - Alarms: refreshes the student's assigned services hourly.
