Skjáttan is a wallet app that holds official certificates and permits, including a driving license from Akstovan and Samleikin ID from Talgildu Føroyar. The purpose of Skjáttan is to give citizens in the Faroe Islands a digital ID, for example to prove residence or age and to prove they have a driving license if they are stopped in traffic. Anyone with Samleikin can use Skjáttan. You log into Skjáttan with Samleikin. For help with Skjáttan call 1881. Skjáttan is a part of Talgildu Føroyar
