Skene puts everything you like to do on a map — and in a feed. Climb, surf, run, jam, play tennis, or meet for a board-game night — post a plan, or join somebody else's with a tap. YOUR SCENE, IN ONE FEED Open Skene to a live feed of what your scene is up to: activities forming near you, plus short status posts from the people and groups you follow. Filter by everyone, following, followers, a group, or just what's nearby. React, comment, and tag a place. Your own plans for the day stay pinned at the top. EXPLORE ACTIVITIES ON A MAP A live map shows what's happening now and later this week. Tap a marker to see who's going and what they're doing. Filter by time, category, or audience — everyone, followers, or a specific group. Long-press the map to add a missing place. ANY ACTIVITY, ANY SCENE Skene ships with climbing categories built in — bouldering, sport, trad and ice — but anyone can create new categories for whatever they do. Running club, pottery workshop, open-mic night, disc golf, sauna with friends: if it has a time and a place, it fits. POST AN ACTIVITY IN 4 TAPS Pick a category, a place, and a time — done. The app remembers recent places, categories, and the times and durations you usually go out, so posting takes seconds. Every activity is public, followers-only, or hidden (only invited people see it). Set an optional participant limit and invite specific people or whole group chats. CHATS AND DISCUSSIONS - A discussion thread on every activity and every saved place — comment, reply and react, without another group chat to mute - Group chats you can name, add members to, and give a photo - Direct messages with anyone you can reach - In chats: pin important messages, reply, react with emoji, share your live location or a photo FOLLOW PEOPLE, BUILD GROUPS Follow people whose plans you want to see. Create named groups from your following list and use them to invite, filter, or restrict visibility. Block anyone you don't want to interact with — they cannot see your activities or reach you in chat. NOTIFICATIONS THAT MATCH HOW YOU LIVE Three-level notifications (off / in-app only / push) per category: activity changes, chat messages, new followers, group chat invites, followed places, and matchmaking. Override the level per conversation, per activity, and per followed place. SAFETY AND PRIVACY - 18+ only - Report users, messages, or activities for harassment, inappropriate content, misleading info or other reasons - Block users with one tap - Delete your entire account — activities, profile and messages — from Settings - Precise location is used only to show nearby activities on the map - No ad tracking, no advertising IDs, no cross-app tracking Skene — Finnish slang for "the scene".
