Store description excerpt
Check dangerous-goods stowage directly on the bay plan. The data and the decision logic are both on the device, so it works with no connection. CHECK RIGHT ON THE BAY PLAN Place a container in a slot and the verdict appears immediately. Empty candidate slots are shaded in three states — compliant, needs checking, violation — and violating cells are outlined. Switch between the general plan for the whole vessel and the detail plan, one bay per page with tier and row scales. Rotate to landscape and the general plan takes the layout of a paper stowage plan — bays without cargo included, so the whole ship structure stays visible. WHAT IS ACTUALLY CHECKED · The 17x17 general segregation table — Away from / Separated from / Separated by a complete compartment or hold / Separated longitudinally · Container-ship stowage geometry — bay, row and tier distance, on deck versus under deck · Class 1 compatibility groups · Subsidiary risks · Segregation groups (SGG) — entered by the officer · Individual segregation provisions (Column 10B) · Stowage categories A to E · Document of Compliance — permitted classes per hold · List against bay plan — unplaced, duplicate and ghost placements · Limited and excepted quantity exemptions · Company overlay rules — stricter only; they never override the regulation verdict BAPLIE IMPORT Reconstruct the vessel structure and the containers from a .edi or .asc stowage plan. Importing the structure and general cargo is free; automatic dangerous-goods placement is DG Pro. WHERE THE DATA COMES FROM The segregation logic is a re-expression of United States federal regulations 49 CFR 172.101, 176.83, 176.84 and 176.144, which are in the public domain. The built-in UN number database holds 2,478 rows and 2,323 UN numbers from the 2024 edition of 49 CFR 172.101. The container-ship stowage geometry table under 176.83(f) was additionally cross-checked cell by cell against IMDG Code Amendment 42-24, 7.4.3.2. The text of the IMDG Code and the IMDG Dangerous Goods List are not included in or reproduced by this app. ALSO INSIDE · The general segregation table as an offline reference — no data entry needed · CTU packing checklist — 15 items over 3 phases, with photos and a completed-form PDF · Scan placards and documents with on-device text recognition · Multiple saved vessel profiles · Quick check — two UN numbers, immediate answer DG PRO — ONE-TIME PURCHASE Unlocks BAPLIE dangerous-goods placement, the DoC editor, Word and PDF export, guided safe-slot moves, and completion of missing fields on existing entries. The safety core — segregation checks, stowage checks, manual placement and label scanning — is always free. Not a subscription. Your vessel profile, DG list and container placements are stored on your device only and are not uploaded to any server. Available in 30 languages. Note — this is a planning aid. The final decision must follow the regulations in force, your vessel's Document of Compliance and your company's procedu
