Store description excerpt
Most health apps are either an endless feed of articles or a logger that assumes you already know what to do. Sillon is neither. Every morning, one card. An anchor practice, two or three supports, one idea. Never more than four things — and for each one, the precise reason it was chosen for you today. WHAT SITS BEHIND EVERY CARD Every practice carries an evidence grade and cites the primary literature: authors, journal, year, DOI. Not a blog post, not an interview, not a podcast — the publication itself. • Grade A: multiple randomized trials or a meta-analysis • Grade B: one well-conducted trial, or strong human data plus an established mechanism • Grade C: emerging — and always flagged as such inside the app When a meta-analysis contradicts a popular practice, Sillon says so. Some cards here exist only to close a door. WHAT'S INSIDE • 109 practices, from sleep and movement to mood and persistent pain • 13 guided paths of two to four weeks, sequencing practices in the order that makes them work • 53 short pieces of knowledge, one a day • 153 sources, verified one by one WRITTEN FOR PARTICULAR LIVES Night shifts. The first months with a newborn. Menopause. Sleep after seventy. These protocols are not a general version you are expected to adapt yourself: they are written for those situations, and the app offers them only to the people they are for. WHAT YOU ARE NOT ASKED FOR No account. No sign-up. No subscription. No advertising. And no connection: the app contains literally no networking code. Nothing can leave your phone, because no path exists for it to take. Apple Health is optional, read-only, and Sillon works fully without it. THE FURROW No streak to protect, no counter resetting to zero. A line that deepens day after day — thicker where you did the thing, thinner where you didn't. It moves forward either way. "Carve your groove." — Sillon diagnoses nothing and replaces no medical advice. Contraindications remove the practices they apply to rather than merely warning you about them. Some cards exist for one purpose only: to send you to a professional.
