SIIS Internal is the official internal mobile application developed for the National Aquaculture Development Authority of Sri Lanka (NAQDA) under the Ministry of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources. The application is designed for authorized officers and internal stakeholders to monitor, manage, and supervise activities within Sri Lanka’s shrimp aquaculture sector. The system supports field inspections, industry monitoring, environmental assessments, and data reporting through a centralized digital platform. SIIS Internal enables NAQDA officers and other authorized stakeholders to access real-time information, conduct field-level monitoring, and update aquaculture data directly from the field using mobile devices. The application is part of the Shrimp Industry Information System (SIIS) platform, developed to strengthen sector governance, improve regulatory oversight, and enhance sustainable aquaculture development in Sri Lanka. Key Features • Field Monitoring and Inspections - Conduct field inspections of business units, ponds, and tanks while recording operational and environmental information. • Disease Monitoring and Reporting - Report shrimp disease incidents, perform assessments, and update monitoring data directly through the mobile platform. • Business Unit Information Access - Access registered business units and producer information from the centralized SIIS database. • Regulatory Monitoring - Support NAQDA regulatory activities including licensing verification, compliance monitoring, and industry oversight. • Data Collection and Reporting - Collect field data and synchronize it with the national SIIS system to support decision-making and policy development. Authorized Users This application is designed for internal operational use by: • NAQDA Officers • Other authorized stakeholders • Government Aquaculture Management Authorities Access to the system is restricted to authorized users with approved credentials. System Integration SIIS Internal is integrated with the national Shrimp Industry Information System platform, supporting digital aquaculture governance, improved data management, and coordinated monitoring across Sri Lanka’s shrimp farming sector.
