Store description excerpt

Signpost! Linking LGBTI people with Tasmanian services that are LGBTI inclusive. Now when you’re visiting Tasmania you can have that coffee-to-go from a shop that prides itself in welcoming everyone (and knows how), or find support from a service that gets it! Signpost covers six key areas: - Advocacy & Allies - Education & Training - Health & Wellbeing - Professional Services - Social Groups - Retail It means we’re the go-to online resource for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex Tasmanians, sex, sexuality and gender diverse people (LGBTI), their friends, families and allies. Signpost was developed by Working It Out – Tasmania’s gender, sexuality, and intersex status support and education service. ---- What is this app? Signpost is an online directory of Tasmanian organisations and businesses that have self-identified as being LGBTI inclusive. Who is this app for? Signpost is for anyone looking for or interested in LGBTI inclusive services, including LGBTI people, their families, friends, and allies. Who can be listed in the directory? Any public or private service, business, community organisation, group, educational institution, public figure, or person offering a service, as long as they can demonstrate that they are LGBTI inclusive. Why should we add ourselves to this app? People are always looking for inclusive services. This app provides a directory of these services and this is a way to promote your good work.
