Sigma Up is one in a series of edutainment apps designed for Android phones and tablets. Sigma Up provides you with a deep dive into the Lean Six Sigma Framework through 5 comprehensive learning sessions. Sigma Up offers coursework assignments defined from a holistic Lean Six Sigma perspective. The course covers aspects of Lean Six Sigma in a detailed manner. After completing your immersion, you will have the skills needed to ‘hit the ground running’, as a Six Sigma practitioner in any Six Sigma assignment. Perspective: Sigma Up delivers total and complete immersion into the Lean Six Sigma quality management process, its concepts, tools, and techniques, for an unparalleled professional development experience. The application moves you, in an engaging manner, through 5 coursework sessions, which include presentations, topic discussions, Six Sigma quizzes, crossword puzzles, Sigma process flows, and a Course Summary. Main Page The main page opens with the Course Summary displayed. Tap [CONTENT] to review a full listing of topic descriptions. After reviewing the content list, tap [GO SIGMA] to open the first session and continue on to subsequent sessions. Session Pages Five (5) sessions cover the 5 phases of DMAIC. There are 5 coursework assignments under each. You may complete the coursework assignments in any order. Tap the corresponding WORK button to the left of each coursework title to start the activity. At the end of each assignment, you are redirected to the respective session page. The coursework is updated to reflect the status, which is changed to DONE and the [WORK] button disabled. All session assignments should be done before moving on to the next session. After completing a session, you submit your score by tapping [TAP HERE TO UPDATE SCORE]. Sigma Presentations After reading each discussion under a presentation, tap [VIEWED], then tap [NEXT PAGE] to move to the next topic. At the end of the presentation, you will be redirected to the coursework session page. Six Sigma Lessons Ten (10) engaging lessons are delivered during the course. Simple cartoon characters complement the lessons, To add a touch of levity to the discussions. informative graphical illustrations are included in most lessons to provide clarity to the concepts. After reading each topic, tap [VIEWED], and [NEXT PAGE] to move to the next discussion in the lesson. Six Sigma Quizzes Seven (7) Quizsets are presented, with 6 multiple-choice quizzes under each. You receive immediate feedback to your answers, and your score is updated real-time and displayed on the page. Six Sigma Crossword Puzzles and Games Game Instructions for Six Sigma crossword puzzles and a Sigma Jumble word Game are provided on their respective coursework pages. Wrap-Up After all (5) coursework assignments in a session have been completed, should you wish to repeat the session, you may tap [REPLAY SESSION, IF DESIRED] to reset the coursework statuses.
