As a consumer, we have busy lives. This app allows you to receive services/products deals without tracking or bombarding you with annoying adverts! Shtream is an innovative platform providing consumers with instant access to local business deals. It provides a tag-based (keyphrases) matching approach. Some people have referred to it as the equivalent of a ‘dating’ app but for connecting businesses and consumers! There are two apps: Shtream Consumer App and Shtream Business App. Shtream Consumer App provides you with a non-intrusive way of supporting your local business by only showing you offers and deals based on tags you save for products or services you are interested in. As a consumer simply install this free Shtream Consumer App: 1. Follow the quick and easy sign up and email verification process. 2. Select your town of choice from the dropdown list E.g. Stockton-On-Tees. You can change town/city anytime to get offers in another location. 3. Save comma separated case-insensitive tags representing product/s or service/s you are interested in. E.g. redshoes, DogGrooming, lasereyetreatment, discoDJ, capuccino etc. 4. That’s it! You can instantly view the deals or simply carry on with your busy life and let the app do the rest. Revisit the app later and see local deals relevant to you. Local businesses add their deals via free Shtream Business App. Once logged in they; 1. Create their local business profile including their local business town/city E.g. Stockton-On-Tees 2. Proceed to create unlimited posts promoting their product/s or service/s. The key is to add relevant case-insensitive tags (key phrases) that best describe their product/s or service/s when creating or editing each post. E.g. redshoes, DogGrooming, lasereyetreatment, discoDJ, capuccino etc. 3. That’s it! When you select the same town/city as your local business and any of your saved tags has been used in their posts, Bingo! You guessed right, we have a match. You will know be able to instantly see the business posts in the app with relevant contact details. One big catch - there is no buy or sell option in both apps! One of Shtream’s objective is to help revive our high streets by encouraging face to face interactions with local businesses. We want you to use the platform to discover wonderful local businesses and support them by physically shopping directly from them. It’s a forward thinking backward step.
