Store description excerpt

On Tour is a free pocket toolkit for everyone on a touring theatre or live event show — cast, crew, AV, LX, sound, automation, wardrobe, stage management and company management alike. It was built around how touring actually works, not how budgeting apps assume life works. PER DIEMS THAT MAKE SENSE Productions pay per diems daily, weekly, every two or three weeks, or monthly. Enter what you actually get and how often, and On Tour turns it into one clear figure: what you can spend today. Overspend on Monday and the rest of the week quietly adjusts, so you are never staring at an empty wallet on Saturday. Hold a slice back each cycle so there is something left at the end of the run. Let an underspent week roll into the next one. Log spending in a couple of taps, tag anything claimable, and export the lot as a CSV for your accountant. WHAT YOU ACTUALLY TAKE HOME Enter your fee — weekly, fortnightly, monthly, per show or as an annual salary — and see a rough net figure under UK, US or Australian rules, for employees and self-employed alike. United Kingdom: income tax with the tapering personal allowance, Class 1 or Class 4 National Insurance, Scottish rates, all five student loan plans, pension contributions. United States: federal bands after the standard deduction, Social Security and Medicare or self-employment tax, filing status, and a state estimate you control. Australia: resident and foreign-resident rates, the Medicare levy, HELP repayments, and super handled as inclusive or on top. Tax figures update inside the app when a new year starts, so the estimates do not go stale between releases. You can switch that off, and the app then makes no network requests at all. CROSSING BORDERS Change the currency your budget is counted in at any time, converting what you have already logged at a rate you enter. Log a spend in local currency while your budget stays in your own. No rates are fetched, so it works with no signal. YOUR TOUR, IN ONE PLACE Venues, cities, call times, doors and curtain. Travel days, tech days, dark days and days off. Hotels, notes and local contacts. World clocks show the time where the show is against the time back home, so you know whether it is a sane hour to ring. THE CREW TOOLKIT Power and current, single and three phase, with common UK, EU, US and Australian supplies. Voltage drop for long runs, in mm² or AWG. Phase balance across L1, L2 and L3. Battery runtime, with the airline watt-hour limits. SPL over distance, combining dB, speaker loads, and delay times. Projector throw distance, screen sizes, and LED wall resolution, weight and power. Timecode conversion and arithmetic at nine frame rates, including drop frame. DMX addressing, universes and DIP switches. Mains voltage and plug types by country, a unit converter, a UK/US/AUS crew glossary, get-in and get-out checklists, and a blackout-friendly backstage torch. WIDGETS Days left on the run, and tour time next to home time, on your home screen and lock scree
