Whether you're a roofing contractor pricing tomorrow's job or a homeowner planning a weekend reroof, ShingleKit is the fastest way to work out exactly what to order. Enter as many roof sections as you need — main house, garage, addition, dormer — each with its own pitch, dimensions, overhangs, and openings. The app sums everything into total sloped area, squares, and bundles needed, with waste factor applied automatically. Accessory materials are calculated alongside the main shingles: ridge and hip caps from your ridge and hip linear feet, starter strips from eave and rake linear feet, underlayment rolls from your area and felt type (#15, #30, or synthetic), roofing nails from your wind zone, ice and water shield from valley linear feet, drip edge, pipe boots, and step flashing. Add your local bundle and roll prices and the material list becomes a job cost estimate. Pitch a roof with the built-in AR meter — rest your iPhone on a rafter and read the slope in degrees, percent, or ratio. Working in metric? Flip one setting and every input switches to meters. The tear-off estimator predicts debris weight and dumpster size. The labor estimator gives crew-hours by complexity. The reverse calculator tells you the coverage you'll get from bundles already on the truck.
