SHIMORI is a puzzle played on a pane of frosted glass, drawn as a hexagonal lattice. You place a small, fixed number of seeds on empty cells — nothing moves yet, there is no clock, nothing is asked of you but where to put them. When you're ready, one tap breathes on the glass, and ice grows outward from every seed at once, a ring of neighbouring cells per beat. Some cells carry a small number. That number is a distance — the exact beat on which the ice must arrive, counted from whichever seed turns out to be closest, no earlier and no later. Get every number right and each marked cell lights warm amber in the order the ice reaches it, striking a bell tone as it goes, tuned to Hirajoshi, an old Japanese five-note scale — so a correct solution always rises through the same short, clean phrase of music. Get one wrong and the frost simply recedes. The seeds stay exactly where you left them. You move one, and breathe again. There is no timer, no move counter, and no way to lose — only a puzzle that isn't right yet. From level 15, cracks arrive: cells the ice has to route around. From level 40, warm spots join them, holding the frost back by a beat wherever they sit. New puzzles are generated as you play, with no final one waiting at the end, and every one is built to be solvable. Once a day, the whole world is given the same puzzle: Morning Frost. Solve it, and your streak isn't shown as a number — it's frost, spreading a little further in from the edges of your home screen with each day you keep it going. Nothing you see in SHIMORI is a picture, and nothing you hear is a recording. Every shape is drawn by the game itself while it runs, and every tone is worked out the instant it's needed. SHIMORI is free to download. One purchase removes the occasional full-screen advertisement between levels — there's never a banner, and any rewarded video is something you choose to watch, not something the game asks of you. Separate purchases add a window motif pack and three packs of shards, spent on new window motifs, sound timbres and crystal shapes. All of it is cosmetic. Nothing you can buy changes what a puzzle needs or how it can be solved. There's no account, no login, and nothing stored anywhere but your own device. Most of SHIMORI is quiet thinking. The rest is one bloom of amber light and a short rising phrase of sound — and then it's quiet again.
