Shimmer Narrative is a role-based AI chat workspace for writing and exploring story-like conversations. Choose from preset characters such as a gentle mentor, blunt friend, or fantasy guide, or create your own character with a name, emoji avatar, and personality prompt. Start multiple conversations for each character, stream replies, stop a reply while it is being generated, copy messages, regenerate an assistant answer, rename or delete conversations, and export a conversation as Markdown. The app also includes light and dark themes, model selection, response temperature control, and a place to enter your own DeepSeek API key. Roles, settings, theme, and conversation history are saved locally on the device.
