Store description excerpt

Ever set a timer, then wanted to share it so someone else can keep track with you? What if you wanted to share multiple timers? Like if you have some muffins in the oven and oatmeal on the stove, but then need to run out for some coffee. You would like hot coffee with muffins and oatmeal, right? Well you can ask someone to check the oven when these muffins are ready or stove with oatmeal if they had access to your timer. Or have you ever wanted to set a timer then see when the timer actually went off? You saw the timer complete, but how long ago was that? Like if you had those muffins in the oven and the timer when off, well, how long have they been baking past when the timer went off? And if you're tracking multiple timers, maybe you're working out too. Hey guess what! Now you can! Shared Timer turns a countdown (or count up) into something everyone can experience together! Simply share a timer. I built this out of frustration because when I wanted someone else to keep track of something, I'd have to set the alarm on someone else's phone. I wanted the ability to set and share a timer. Also, receive a timer and watch the timer together. Set a timer, tap Share, and it sends a link to that person's phone. Everyone who opens the app sees the same countdown and gets the same alarm. There's no sign-ups, no accounts creation. As long as you have the app, tap the link and you're in. You and your friends can set multiple timers, share multiple timers, create recurring timers, share recurring timers, and more. You can share with multiple people too. If you're in a group and need to share one timer with 5 people, you can. This is the only timer app you will ever need! WHY PEOPLE USE IT - Kitchen coordination: "dinner's done at 6:15," and every phone in the house knows it - Baby naps: "When did the baby fall asleep?" "How long has the baby been asleep for?" Create a count up timer, then share it with whoever needs to know. They can see a live version of how long the timer has been running - Game nights & watch parties: sync the start time so nobody misses kickoff - Workouts & study sessions: start an interval together, even in different rooms, or from across the country - Exercise intervals: workout together with recurring, shared alarms and timers - Kids & chores: "screen time ends at 6," backed by an alarm instead of an argument - Meetings & calls: a countdown to "go time" the whole group can see - Coaching: "game starts at exactly now" little league game? Soccer tournament? Get everyone on the same countdown. - Long distance: "call me the second this hits zero" BUILT THE WAY A TIMER SHOULD WORK - Create a timer by duration or by picking an exact time - Create a timer that counts up time, like a stopwatch - Share it instantly through Messages or any app you already use - Every recipient's alert fires at the same absolute moment even if they're offline or with the app closed - Only the creator can edit or cancel a timer; everyone else just watches it
