Serene Leaf Infusion is a loose leaf tea companion built around three things: a catalogue of the teas you own, precise multi-infusion brew timers, and a tasting journal that turns a year of casual drinking into a readable record of what you actually enjoy. YOUR SHELF • Store every tea you own with type, origin, harvest year, leaf form, vendor and your own photo of the leaf • Keep the full recipe on each card — water temperature, leaf weight, water volume, first steep length, per-infusion increment and planned infusion count • Track remaining grams with restock thresholds and a quick "Use 5g" decrement • Filter by category — green, white, yellow, oolong, black, pu'er, herbal — search by name, origin or your own tags, and sort by recently added, name, rating, most brewed or lowest stock THE BREW TIMER • A large, glanceable dial counts each infusion down with a depleting ring and monospaced digits • An infusion ladder shows completed steeps with their actual elapsed seconds, the current steep, and the planned time of every steep to come • Minus ten and plus ten adjust the steep in progress without changing the stored recipe • A success haptic and a "Pour now" state at zero, with a count-up so you know how far past you have gone • Leave the timer and it stays alive as a "Continue session" card on Today • Quick brew starts a generic session when you have not catalogued the tea yet THE JOURNAL • Log a session in under thirty seconds: rating, flavour tags from a fixed set of eighteen, body and astringency scales, vessel, water note and a free-text tasting note • Browse as a list grouped by month, as a calendar with a dot on every day you brewed, or as trends • Charts for sessions per week, average rating per month and your most frequent flavour tags • Compare your median first steep with the global median drawn from anonymous contributions • Filter by tea, category, minimum rating, flavour tag or date range, and export everything as plain text • Session detail shows planned versus actual seconds per infusion, and "Brew again with these parameters" replays the exact steeps you poured DAILY PRACTICE • A streak of consecutive days with at least one logged session • A rotating brewing tip, often linked to a full guide article • Today's cups, shelf totals, session totals and average rating at a glance BREWING GUIDE • Curated articles on water and temperature, leaf and ratio, vessels, tea types, tasting and storage • Headings, bullet lists, callouts and parameter tables, with bookmarks and three text sizes • The whole library is cached on device, so it reads offline with a clear "last updated" line STEEP SENSE • A timing game that trains the same instinct the ritual asks for: stop the marker inside a shrinking window that represents a correct steep • Rounds get faster and narrower; three misses end the run • Best score, runs played and an anonymous global rank PRIVACY AND OFFLINE • No accounts, no email, no password.
