How's the fun going on in this complex daughter-in-law affair? Wayang kulit is a traditional Indonesian art which mainly developed in Java. Wayang comes from the word 'Ma Hyang' which means to a spiritual spirit, god, or God Almighty. There are also those who interpret wayang as a Javanese term which means 'shadow', this is because the audience can also watch wayang from behind the screen or just its shadow. Wayang kulit is played by a puppeteer who is also the narrator of the dialogue of the puppet characters, accompanied by gamelan music played by a group of nayaga and tembang sung by the singer. Puppeteer Ki Seno Nugroho was born in Yogyakarta, on August 23, 1972. He graduated from the Indonesian Arts Middle School, Yogyakarta, in 1991. Ki Seno studied puppetry since he was 10 years old. Often he joined his father when he was performing. Little Seno was very impressed with Ki Mantheb Sudharsono. Ki Seno was able to master and be able to combine the two styles of pakeliran Yogyakarta and Surakarta. Work on his skills is very prominent in working on chess.
