A gymnastics season is four or five Saturdays a year. Season Book keeps what a family actually wants to remember about them: the photographs, and the numbers, together. THE PHOTOGRAPHS ARE THE POINT Take them in the app at the meet, or add ones you already have. They sit with that day's scores — the beam dismount next to the 9.100 she got for it. Location data is stripped from every picture the app stores. Camera, timestamp, and the GPS coordinates a phone quietly attaches: none of it survives. One sent to a grandparent never carries where the gym is. And Season Book cannot read your photo library. Not "does not" — cannot. Existing pictures come through Apple's own picker, which hands over only the ones you choose. The app never sees the rest. A BOOK YOU CAN PRINT A cover with her photograph, the season at a glance, then a page for every meet with her scores, her medals and her pictures. Share it, or print it and put it in a drawer. That is the thing you still have in fifteen years. FOR THE PEOPLE WHO COULDN'T BE THERE AirPlay a season to a television and it plays in the order it happened — her photo, then each meet, then the pictures from that meet. Grandparents on the sofa get the whole year, told as a story about a girl getting better at something. THE NUMBERS, KEPT PROPERLY Four events for girls, six for boys. Type them off the scoreboard and the all-around adds itself up. Personal bests kept per level, because a 9.5 at Level 3 and a 9.5 at Level 8 are not the same achievement. NOTHING LEAVES YOUR DEVICES No account. No servers of ours. Nothing to sign up for. Everything lives on your iPhone and in your own iCloud, which we cannot see into. AND IT IS YOURS TO TAKE Export the lot as a spreadsheet, web pages and plain photographs. Nothing needs this app to open it.
