Store description excerpt

ScreenTime Nanny — turn screen time into a reward. ScreenTime Nanny is a parental-control app that helps families build healthy screen-time habits. Kids EARN credits by using educational apps or completing parent-set quests, and SPEND those credits on entertainment apps. Parents stay in control with per-app ratings, schedules, limits, and reports. WHAT PARENTS CAN DO • Rate each app — educational apps earn credits per minute, entertainment apps cost credits per minute. • Create quests and chores the child completes for credits (with parent approval). • Set School Mode and Bedtime windows that lock entertainment apps. • Choose Always-Allowed apps that always work (e.g. Phone, Messages). • Offer real-world rewards in the Cash-Out shop. • See screen-time and credit-balance reports. FOR KIDS A simple Play Zone that shows their credit balance, their apps, quests to earn more credits, and rewards to cash out. USE OF THE ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE (please read) ScreenTime Nanny uses Android's Accessibility Service for one core parental-control purpose: to stop the app's protections from being turned off or removed by the child. When the child opens the system Settings or the Android app-installer screens and tries to UNINSTALL, FORCE-STOP, CLEAR DATA for, or DEACTIVATE the device-administrator permission of ScreenTime Nanny, the Accessibility Service detects that specific screen and returns the device to the Home screen, then opens the parent PIN screen. This keeps the screen-time limits and app blocks that the parent set from being bypassed by a child. The Accessibility Service only inspects the system Settings and package-installer screens for this anti-tampering purpose. It does NOT read, collect, store, log, or transmit the contents of any screen, and it sends no data off the device. A parent can always remove the app themselves from Security → Allow Uninstall, which is protected by the parent PIN. This use of the Accessibility Service is essential to the app's core function as a parental-control tool and is disclosed here in accordance with Google Play policy.
