Store description excerpt
A tool app that lets you change or lock your phone's screen orientation with one tap from a notification. Useful when auto-rotate is inconvenient, such as while watching videos, reading, playing games, or lying down. Main Features - Switch anytime from notifications: Change screen orientation with one tap from notification buttons. - Per-app automatic control: Link specific apps with screen orientations and switch automatically for each app. - Many rotation settings: Use portrait/landscape locks, sensor modes, reverse locks, and lying-down modes. Supported Rotation Settings Choose from 14 rotation settings. [Basic Lock Modes] - portrait: Lock to normal portrait. - landscape: Lock to normal landscape. - reverse portrait: Lock to upside-down portrait. - reverse landscape: Lock to reverse landscape. [Sensor-based / Auto Modes] - full sensor: Rotate in all directions based on the sensor (system control). - sensor portrait: Stay in portrait and flip based on the sensor. - sensor landscape: Stay in landscape and flip based on the sensor. [Lying Down / Special Modes] - lie left: Rotate 90 degrees left relative to the sensor. - lie right: Rotate 90 degrees right relative to the sensor. - headstand: Rotate 180 degrees relative to the sensor. - full: Rotate in all four directions based on the sensor (app control). - forward: Rotate only in forward directions. - reverse: Rotate only in reverse directions. - unspecified: Use the current app's original orientation. Required Permissions Required: "Display over other apps" Used to show a transparent control UI that requests screen orientation changes. Optional: "App usage data" Used only for per-app automatic control to detect the app currently open. Troubleshooting If reverse orientation locks do not work, try turning on "Auto-rotate" in device settings. How It Works & Limitations This app uses a transparent control overlay on top of other apps to request orientation changes from Android. It also runs as a foreground service so control can continue after the app closes. Because of this mechanism, the following limitations apply: 1. Persistent notification Android requires a persistent notification while the app is active in the background. It cannot be hidden. 2. Battery and power saving settings The OS may identify this app as a source of battery use and stop it. Excluding it from battery optimization may improve stability. 3. Security warnings or restrictions Because this app uses the "Display over other apps" permission, some devices or security apps may show warnings or restrict it. This permission is used only for screen orientation control. It is not used to read screen contents, perform input operations, or send data. 4. Conflicts with other overlay apps Other overlay apps, such as blue light filters or screen capture tools, may conflict with this app. 5. Android 16+ large screen devices On some Android 16+ large screen environments, such as tablets, foldables, or desktop displays, orientation
