You enter the maximum possible score for the test, and the app immediately displays the score ranges for grades 1–5 or 1–6. You can adjust the thresholds in increments of one or half a point, and use the settings to modify the percentage range for each grade or revert to the defaults. A separate calculator allows you to quickly compute the grade average—with an option to account for pluses and minuses. In the "+/- grade weights" settings, you define how much a plus grade raises the average and a minus grade lowers it (defaults are +0.50 and -0.25).
