The hinário Salmos e Hinos was the first collection of evangelical hymns in Portuguese organized in Brazil and is part of Brazilian Christian history and culture, being used since 1861. Despite this, there was still no digital or easily accessible version that allowed searching and opening quickly the lyrics of the song, even on the internet when searching for some hymns, the lyrics were confused with those of many hymnals available in different versions. This application was created with the purpose of facilitating access to the Psalms and Hymns and keeping active this beautiful part of the history and tradition of Christian music in Brazil.
