SafeScan — 7-Layer Deep Scan Engine Accommodations, changing rooms, restrooms… could there be a hidden camera? SafeScan analyzes the possibility of a hidden camera by cross-validating 7 detection methods. Existing detection apps rely on a single EMF (magnetic field) sensor. SafeScan utilizes a 7-layer structure combining deep network analysis with physical sensors to reduce false positives and increase accuracy. ▶ 7-Layer Deep Scan L1 WiFi ARP — Discovers all devices on the same network and identifies manufacturers from a database of over 682 OUIs. It automatically classifies camera manufacturers such as Hikvision and Dahua. L2 RTSP Port Scan — Scans video streaming ports (554/8554) that do not open unless they are cameras. This is SafeScan's key differentiating point. L3 SSDP/UPnP — Discovers UPnP devices that announce themselves to the network. IP cameras are often automatically discovered using this protocol. L4 ONVIF — Discovers camera-specific services using ONVIF WS-Discovery, the international standard protocol for IP cameras. L5 mDNS — Finds camera-related services such as _rtsp._tcp through Apple Bonjour-based service discovery. L6 EMF + BLE — Detects signs of electronic device anomalies using magnetic field sensors and searches for suspicious nearby devices using BLE scanning.
