Store description excerpt

People often struggle to remember secure passwords. Most computer generated passwords use random characters that can be pasted into password managers but are impossible to memorise. These are unsuitable for master passwords, passkeys, screen locks, or system logins where password managers cannot help. Many people choose passwords related to their family, job, or hobbies, which makes them vulnerable if attackers can discover this information. SafePass takes a different approach. It uses real English words — mostly nouns — which are easier to remember. The app contains 604 memorable words, ten numbers, and twelve symbols. Each generated password consists of: • one random symbol • one random word • one random number • a second random word • a final random symbol • These five elements are stitched together without spaces. Even if someone obtained the word list, the probability of guessing a SafePass password is approximately one in five hundred million. When you open the app, you see a single button: Generate Password. Pressing it displays a suggested password along with Accept and Reject options. Rejecting generates a new password. Accepting moves to a typing screen where you attempt to type the password. Characters are masked with stars, just like standard password fields. If your attempt matches, you are asked to type it again to reinforce memory. Two successful attempts are required, but they do not need to be consecutive. If you make a mistake, a dialog appears stating Password mismatch and asks whether you want another attempt. Choosing Yes clears the box for another try. Choosing No returns you to a new suggested password. SafePass is simple, free, and designed to help you create strong passwords you can actually remember.
