Store description excerpt

sACN Viewer is a fast, native monitor for sACN (ANSI E1.31) lighting networks. Discover the sources on your network, watch live DMX across every universe, and send test data while you patch — built for lighting designers, programmers and technicians who need to see what's really on the wire. WATCH YOUR DMX • A live view of every universe receiving data, each with a 512-channel bar chart that maps values to a cyan → yellow → red gradient. • Tap any universe for the full picture: Active, Highest, Priority and Sequence, a full-width chart, and a 512-channel grid (16 columns on iPhone, 32 on iPad). • Pulsing activity dots show traffic at a glance. DISCOVER SOURCES • Lists every sACN source on the network by CID and Source Name, with its IP and the universes it advertises. • Subscribes to universes 1–64 the moment it launches and joins more from Universe Discovery — so data shows up immediately, even when a source doesn't send Discovery. TEST WHILE YOU PATCH • Built-in E1.31 test sender at 30 Hz — multicast or a unicast target IP, with adjustable priority (1–200). • A bulk slider plus an editable channel grid: tap a cell to set it, long-press to toggle 0/255. INSPECT THE TRAFFIC • Packet log with filters (direction, opcode, source IP), pause and clear, and JSONL export through the iOS share sheet. BUILT FOR THE JOB • Network interface picker — keep Wi-Fi for the internet and use USB-C Ethernet for the lighting LAN. • The screen stays awake while you monitor. • No account, no ads, no tracking, no data collected. Everything stays on your network and your device. sACN Viewer is part of the OF COURSE toolkit for events, lighting and the creative industries — a sibling to ArtNet Viewer. Note: sACN Viewer monitors and sends DMX over your local network, so it needs Local Network access (you'll be asked on first launch). A wired connection is recommended for shows — Wi-Fi multicast can be unreliable under load.
